Charles Adkins
President at Hedera
Charles Adkins
President at Hedera
In the multifaceted landscape of technology and finance, my journey spanning two decades has been marked by strategic leadership, innovative financial solutions, and a pioneering spirit in embracing nascent technologies.
My professional and polished communication skills have not only led me to speak at over 50 events in the past 5 years but also to assume leadership roles where relaying complex ideas in a simplified manner has been paramount to growing organizations.
I spearheaded the creation of a Thought Leadership Council for NFTs, which organized 30 events in 12 countries and amassed 45,000 global members from the world's top companies and governments. This effort has underscored my dedication to the confluence of blockchain technology, finance, and education.
My transparent and optimistic approach, especially when differentiating the genuine technology use-cases of blockchain from currency-focused talking points in public discourse, has been a cornerstone of my journey.
Unlike many in the industry, I’ve navigated spaces with a transparent persona, avoiding anonymity, pseudonyms, or cartoon avatars, ensuring trust and clarity in all interactions. This is something I feel has been needed to build trust with global thought leaders and executives.
As we stand on the cusp of a technological revolution with AI and quantum computing, my decade-long outlook to the future recognizes the utility of decentralized and verifiable transparent information as essential, extending from governments and enterprises all the way to individual users.
In the very near future, the idea of having a hyper-performant blockchain at the core of your business will not just be a "nice to have" but rather an imperative tool to enact commerce.
