The Internet Identity Workshop (IIW) returns for its 40th edition—IIW XL—convening a global community committed to open, user-controlled digital identity. Hosted at the iconic Computer History Museum, this in-person gathering brings together technologists, policymakers, researchers, and ecosystem leaders to drive innovation in decentralized identity and trust infrastructure.
Since 2005, IIW has been a catalyst for open standards and shared protocols such as DIDs, verifiable credentials, self-sovereign identity (SSI), and other building blocks of next-generation identity systems.
